Day 1: Kochi – Kumarakkom

It is a serenely beautiful and scenic backwater destination jutting into the Vembanad Lake,that is dotted with plenty of traditional rice boats and canoes. The fresh water of the lake flows into the mainland making a labyrinth of lagoons, canals and waterways

Day 2: Kumarakkom – Alleppey

About Alleppey : Alleppey , often known as the Venice of the east is one of the most important tourist centers in the state. The house boat cruise along the backwaters of Alleppey gives one a first hand experience of the life style of the villagers which includes toddy tapping, fishing for small fry, coir-making, prawn farming etc.

House Boat cruise in Alleppey : Kerala Houseboats (Riceboats) or kettuvallam are country boats that were used in the early days for transport of goods from the isolated interior villages of Kerala to towns like Alleppey, Kollam, Cochin and Kottayam. These house boats vary in size and in the no. of rooms ranging from a single bedroom to 5 bedrooms. It is manned by a three –member crew, - the chef, the driver and the cabin assistant and the cuisine served on board is the authentic Kerala food which includes rice, fish curry, fish fry and other delicacies.

1).   Transfer to Alleppey after breakfast
2).   Board the house boat at Alleppey

Day 3: Alleppey – Kovalam

About Kovalam: Kovalam has become one of the most popular beach hangouts in India. Kovalam means a grove of coconut trees and truly the coconut trees along the beaches give a ravishing look. The crescent-shaped beaches of Kovalam can be divided in three sections. The southern most beach – Lighthouse beach, the middle beach – Hawa beach and the northern most beach – Samudra beach.
